Transcare
Our clients carried out 911 ambulance, EMT and medical paratransport services in New York City, Westchester, Pittsburgh and Maryland for Transcare. Its 1,700 employees faced their own emergency-like chaos one evening when many were on the road, at work in their vehicles. They were told that Transcare had filed for bankruptcy. They were told to return their vehicle, but not what would happen to their jobs or earned paychecks as the days unfolded. They never returned to work or were paid for their most recent work. Raisner Roupinian is class counsel, litigating against Transcare, and its parent, Patriarch Partners, under the WARN Act. For the unpaid wages, they also are suing the owner of the companies, financier, Lynn Tilton. The case is ongoing.
